EFRs and CDLs

EFRs are files that define clips within a film. They are created by EFR Aid. Once the clips defined in EFR Aid are exported as an EFR file, this file can be opened in the CDL Builder. The CDL Builder then allows the user to create a CDL file which serves as a cliplist of clips to be shown. Once a CDL file has been created it can be opened in the EFR VideoPlayer. The VideoPlayer uses the CDL file to show only the clips that were selected during the EFR authoring process.
